“Sustainability is not just a goal; it’s our commitment to the ocean we call home.”
On March 1st, 2026, the team from Khaolak Emerald Beach Resort & Spa was honored to participate in a landmark event for our province: the “55th Annual Sea Turtle Conservation Festival” at Thai Mueang Beach, Phang Nga.
This year’s event was particularly special as it marked over half a century of local dedication to protecting these majestic creatures. As a resort deeply rooted in the beauty of Khao Lak’s coastline, joining this initiative is a core part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) mission.
Heartwarming Moments from the Field
Our team joined local officials and the community in several impactful activities:
The Journey Home: We witnessed the breathtaking moment as young sea turtles took their first steps into the Andaman Sea. Supporting their return to the wild is vital for maintaining the marine ecosystem’s balance.
Supporting the Cause: Khaolak Emerald proudly contributed to the Sea Turtle Conservation Fund. We participated in the symbolic release program (10,000 THB per turtle), where 100% of the proceeds go directly to the fund for habitat restoration and hatchling protection in the Phang Nga-Phuket area.
The “Blue” Spirit: The beach was transformed into a sea of blue, as participants wore blue tones and official conservation shirts to show solidarity in protecting our natural heritage.
More Than Just a Stay—A Shared Responsibility
At Khaolak Emerald, we believe that luxury and responsibility go hand-in-hand. By participating in the 55th Anniversary of this tradition, we aim to ensure that the pristine waters of Phang Nga remain vibrant and full of life for generations to come.
“Every turtle that reaches the waves represents a victory for conservation and a promise for a greener future.”
